OUR SABROSITO RESTAURANT GUEST VACCINATION POLICY

In an effort to keep our community safe, anyone five and olderwho wishes to dine indoors must show proof that they are fully vaccinated. Ourteams are required to be fully vaccinated as well.

Accepted proof of vaccination includes your physicalvaccination card, photo of your vaccination card, or any othergovernment-provided digital record.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What does it mean to be fully vaccinated as a guest of Sabrositorestaurant?
For anyone five years of age or older, our definition of “fullyvaccinated” is your two shot vaccination series for Moderna and Pfizer vaccineor your single dose of the J&J vaccine.

Can unvaccinated children dine at a Sabrosito restaurant? 
In accordance with NYC mandates, children five and oldermust show proof of vaccination.

What exactly do I need to bring to validate my vaccinationstatus? 
Please be prepared to share with our host or maître d' your proofof vaccination and photo identification. Accepted proof of vaccination includesyour physical vaccination card, photo of your vaccination card, or any othergovernment-provided digital record.

AIR FILTRATION TECHNOLOGY

Under theguidance of HVAC specialists, we have upgraded the air filtration andpurification systems at each of our restaurants to introduce both UV lightingand bi-polar ionization technologies.

The UV light purifies the HVAC unit andfilters themselves, while the bi-polar ionization technology releases positiveand negative ions into the air, causing particles including bacteria, viruses,and mold spores to cluster together. These clusters are then large enough to becaptured by filters with a MERV 8 rating or higher, which we have alsoinstalled in each of our restaurants.  

SAFE FROM THE SOURCE

We've developed specific health + safety standards for oursuppliers that mirror our own practices. Every supplier certifies they've metthese standards. 

TEAM MEMBER WELLNESS CHECKS

We have partnered with CLEAR to integrate Health Pass by CLEAR,an app-based system for all employees to implement our daily safety healthchecks and verify vaccination status. With this partnership, we can ensure allemployees are fulfilling our daily health checks while protecting team members’privacy. 

FREQUENT HANDWASHING

We follow strict and thorough handwashing guidelines issued bythe FDA and CDC. Team members change gloves regularly and at least every 30minutes.

STRICT SANITIZATION STANDARDS

We disinfect all high-touchpoint surfaces at least once everyhour with EPA-registered disinfectant. Hand sanitizer stations are available inour kitchens and dining rooms.

ENHANCED TEAM MEMBER BENEFITS

Team members are required to stay home if they do not feel well.To take care of them, we have expanded our benefits with emergency paid sickleave and family leave.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT

Following CDC and local guidelines, our staff must wear masks.Masks are optional but encouraged for vaccinated guests.
